Die «Swissair DC-3» im Formationsflug mit der «Screaming Eagle»: Anlässlich des 75. Jahrestages der Invasion, des D-Days, hat die «Screaming Eagle», zusammen mit weiteren 25 DC-3, den Ärmelkanal von England nach Frankreich überquert. Im Anschluss war sie für eine kurze Zeit in Grenchen, Schweiz, stationiert.
Bevor diese DC-3 im klassischen D-Day Anstrich wieder zurück nach Amerika flog, wurde sie von der «Swissair DC-3» bei einem Flug begleitet. Der Flug fand grösstenteils über dem Thunersee statt. Alle Flugzeuge sind im Besitz vom Bettlacher Unternehmer Hugo Mathys. Gefilmt wurde aus der «roten» Beech 18.

The “Swissair DC-3” in formation flight with the “Screaming Eagle”: The “Screaming Eagle”, together with another 25 DC-3s, crossed the English Channel from England to France on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the invasion, the D-Day.
